Art Sparks Creative Gatherings kicked off in November at Portico on Sturt, bringing together the creative people of Ballarat and surrounds for some great music, poetry and cabaret! The Tinderbox Radio crew curated and hosted the night as an initiative of the newly formed Ballarat Arts Alive. The events, planned to run regularly at different venues and feature artists across multiple art-forms, are a response to the need highlighted at July’s arts forum, to connect the local creative community.
Fabulous Feature Artists were Nathan Curnow, Lily Parker and Amie Brulee with delicious Tapas provided by Portico. These events are made possible by the proud support of the City of Ballarat and form a 4-part pilot series.
