QUESTION SEVEN (sample only):
QUESTION SEVEN All answers:
- I don’t ‘need’ space per se… but if inner town space were available I would use it for classes/workshops closer within the town parameters.
- 4x5metres, with some display space incorporated into it. Mostly it would be for creating work, but some display area too.
- Minimum of 4m x 5m with storage space.
- As large as possible, thus allowing me to move around & have different backgrounds, different textures, etc etc. Ideally the space would be a well lit (difussed light) in a large old factory/warehouse of approx 20m x 30m (or larger)
- Large rehearsal space for theatre work – from time to time. Wooden or sprung floor, high ceilings – church hall type space. Preferably with a piano in the room too.
- 3m x 2
- I’d like to run a flexible performance space that is big enough to host touring shows/concerts, but can also be utilised for smaller community performance use. It would be flat floored with re-arrangeable seating and all the latest sound and lighting technology. It would have outdoor space for sunny days and a cafe that makes good coffee. It would tick all the boxes that the Ballarat community want and it would also be awesome. That is all.
- Ground floor, plenty of ventilation for power tool use. 5mx5m minimum but I think a shared workshop is great as in my experience it is rare to all be there at same time – each with own smaller personal area and a larger communal area.
- 5m x 5m enough space to work on large paintings etc
- 4 x 5 sound good
- A small office or shared work space to get me out of the spare bedroom at home!
- a room with good light quality, I don’t care if I share, electricity required,
- venue with hard floor (eg. dance floor) for events that could cater for audience of up to 250 people
- 3m x 3m
- None outside my home – except for exhibition space
- Photographed studio is needed 10 m x 10 m
- 5m x 5m with good light
- medium sized for desk work as well as plotting out bigger works and making
- As much as possible
- Workshop space ground level
- 8mx10m for painting
- 2m x2m
- I’m looking for a photography studio space with high ceiling for a system of backdrops. min requirements 4x7m plus space for sofa & presentation area (wall + table). Additional Space for a working desk and chair.
- 4×5 mtrs max
- Studio and storeroom for paintings 10×10 m
- Performance space/s Medium/large
- Desk for computer and chair to sit on
QUESTION EIGHT (sample only):
QUESTION EIGHT All answers:
- depending on enrolments…
- For the right space $100 a month would be affordable.
- Based on size and community that shares the space. I am more business focused so would look at a creative space but also one where you can concentrate and network with like-minded people. From $100 per month.
- Depending on how close to my ideal vision…. I’d be happy to lease a space for ——- ??? $200/month
- $50 per day is probably the amount I would like to pay, but there are few spaces at this price. I am aware of $70 per day venues that would be suitable and are already available. So that makes a range of $1000 per month to around $1500.
- $40
- I’d ideally like to buy an old building and do it up. And the money for this project will come from the live-entertainment-fairies.
- $120 max
- $150 – $200
- as little as possible
- I haven’t looked into it… I’m not sure what the going rates are
- $50… I’m on a pension
- Would only hire it on event specific dates, not permanently
- Looking for 1-2 days use per week max, in shared desk oriented studio space. So, $15-$30 p.w. or $60-$120 p.c.m.
- can’t afford anything
- $50 to $100 Week
- Budget dictates around $100-150 per month
- not sure
- $50.00 per month?
- 30-50
- $100 to $150
- $25 (I would prefer a shared space as I would only be there 2 nights a week and the odd weekend. I work full time).
- Between 50 & 100
- 50-100 per week if the space was private, like a room
- 100to 200
- 100
- $40-$80 for space
